Ascend 2010 - The Winter Retreat

At Ascend 2010 we will come to know who God says we are instead of who the world may have told us we are. Experience God through for main teaching sessions, powerful workshops, personal quiet time, focused small group times and times of worship.
Come be renewed in Michigan's Upper Peninsula at Cedar Campus, near Cedarville, MI. Cedar Campus offers a number of winter activities for your enjoyment, including ice skating, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking... and maybe even polar bear dipping... Of course, you can always come in by the fire to get out of the cold.

How to Get There:

Basically, from the south:  Take I-75 north across the Mackinac Bridge. Take exit 359 onto Highway M-134 toward Cedarville, Hessel and DeTour Village. Go east on M-134 through Hessel (13 miles) and Cedarville (4 more miles). Mariners' Cove (Cedar Campus East Entrance) is 6 miles past Cedarville. The entrance is on the right and has a large, well-lit wooden sign to mark it (it is the second such sign you will come to, the first is for Old Mill Point). Check-in is in Taylor Lodge, which will be right in front of you after you turn in. Leave your things in your car until you are assigned housing.
And from Up North: Get to I-75 and take it to exit 359, then follow the directions above.

Packing

Bring lots of layerable warm casual clothing: sweaters, hat, gloves or mittens, outdoor boots, scarves, extra socks.
