Are you passionate about sharing Jesus with others? Do you feel called to explore ministry, especially on campus? If so, the His House Apprenticeship may be your next step in faith and service.
What is a His House Apprenticeship?
The apprenticeship is for young adults who desire to live out the Great Commission in the world (Mt. 28:18-20) and are open to considering a life of ministry, quite possibly campus ministry. Ideally, candidates would be college graduates who are available for the entire nine month apprenticeship (mid-August to late April/early May). Apprentice candidates must be available and teachable, not perfect. Our Apprenticeship is really about creating a space to learn – the opportunity to explore, question, and learn how to live a life of ministry wherever and whoever they are.
Why would I consider becoming an Apprentice with His House?
People need Jesus. They need the hope and healing only he can offer. God has chosen us to partner with him in his work and the college campus is an excellent training ground. Apprentices with His House will receive specific mentoring and opportunities to grow in the mandate to be and make disciples. These include training in spiritual disciplines, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, support raising, etc. Apprentices will also experience:
A consistent walk with God
Regular exposure to others – lost and found – with expectation of what God desires to do in and through these relationships
Regular access to His House staff for training, discipleship, and encouragement
Opportunities and responsibilities that suit your unique gifting and interests
