Are you passionate about the Gospel?

Do you love college students and the needs they have?

You might love working with us!

Why would someone want to do campus ministry with His House?

  • College students come to campus expecting to learn, grow, and change.  You get to offer them the best opportunities in Jesus.

  • College students are our next leaders, parents, and community members.  More than that, the college campus is a crossroads for the world.  If you impact the campus, you impact the future of our country and that of the world.

  • You will be a part of something bigger than yourself.  We have over 55 years of campus ministry experience with established ministries on 13 campuses in Michigan and counting.

  • You won’t be doing ministry alone.  You will receive regular training, mentorship, and encouragement from a family-oriented, supportive staff community.

What does working for His House look like?

  • Raising support as full-time missionaries to college students

  • A blend of hospitality, evangelism, leadership development, and pastoral care—helping students know Jesus, explore faith, and learn to have a lifestyle of walking with Jesus in the context of Christian community.

  • Stationed on a specific campus but in regular contact with other staff, both locally and across the state.

Apprenticeship:  For young adults (preferably college graduates) who desire to live out the Great Commission and are open to considering a life of ministry, quite possibly campus ministry.  The Apprenticeship is about having  a space to learn – the opportunity to explore, question, and learn how to live a life of ministry wherever and whoever they are – for the majority of the campus ministry year (mid-August to late April/early May).  If you are interested in becoming an apprentice, email us at apprenticeship@hhcf.org or click here.

Administrative Staff: For those who want to participate in the mission to reach college students and are particularly gifted in areas such as:  organization, human resources, office management, communications, database management, etc. There is a specific need for an administrative assistant in our main office in Lansing.  Please contact Scott at scott@hhcf.org.

Associate Staff:  For those wanting to come onto campus to impact the lives of college students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  You will be placed on a campus under the supervision and guidance of a lead campus minister.  Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:  meeting new students and outreach, building relationships, organizing Bible studies, worship gatherings, retreats, and service projects; mentoring students one-on-one; collaborating with campus organizations; and engaging with the wider campus community.  Contact Scott at scott@hhcf.org if you are interested.
