Training for Cycle The Campus!

First of all… THANK YOU!!!

We are so grateful that you are partnering with His House and helping us move this ministry forward through Cycle the Campus 2025! We cannot wait to see you on May 31 in Midland!!!

No matter what event you’ve chosen, it matters and we’re thrilled to see you join with your friends and family to crush your goals!

To help you prepare for this event and feel ready on May 31, we’ve developed training plans for you to follow. These plans are available for the 25 Mile Cycle the Campus event and the 10K Run the Campus event. There are no training plans for the Prayer Walk or the 50 Mile Cycle the Campus. If you are doing the 50 Mile Ride, we are trusting that you are a cyclist with some experience and a basic knowledge of how to prepare! We also put together a “fundraising plan” to help give you ideas for that side of things!

FAQ #1 - Do I have to train for Cycle the Campus?
Answer - Nope. We don’t require you to train at all! We just think you will probably enjoy the event more if you do!

FAQ #2 - Do I have to use the training plans here?
Answer - Nope! They are meant to be a resource in case you need something to use and meant to be an easy thing to share with the others doing it with you! But, if you have something else you would rather use, by all means, use it!

FAQ #3 - Do I have to meet the goal times on the plans?
Answer - No. You are not required to make the suggested times (2 hours for Cycle the Campus, 1 hour for Run the Campus). They are suggestions merely to help give you some guidelines as you prepare. Our support teams will be available to you until you finish the event!

FAQ #4 - I registered after these started. What do I do?
Answer - Great! We’re so glad you’re here! Start wherever you can and know that something before the event is better than nothing! There will be people cheering you on no matter how unprepared you feel!

FAQ #5 - I am riding the 50 Mile Ride for Cycle the Campus. Where’s my training plan?
Answer - First off, mad props to you for continuing in the legacy of 50 miles! What an accomplishment!! Thank you for keeping this tradition alive! With that said, if you are choosing to ride 50 miles, we are assuming you are a cyclist with some experience and a plan for how you will accomplish this ride. You also had to sign the waiver that you would do your best to finish the ride in 4 hours or less, meaning you are not jumping on your bike for the first time in a year the day of and riding. Continue doing the training plan you already do and we will be cheering for you there!!

We can’t wait to see you on May 31!
