We need some heroes right now.
We need to raise an additional $50,000 by August 31, as this is the end of our fiscal year. I am asking God to raise up 200 heroes.
Students are suffering from oppression and opposition from this present evil age, and both you and I want to set them free. We want to be present in their lives and lead them to Jesus. To give our very best, we need to meet our budget this year.
$50,000 is a lot of money, but I think we can do it. After all, there is a hero inside each one of us! In fact, I can hear the voice of Larry-Boy in my head, saying, “I am that hero!”
If you are familiar with Veggie Tales, you probably know Larry-Boy—Larry the Cucumber's alter ego, who responds at a moment's notice to the crisis at hand.
Being a hero doesn't require dressing up, wearing a cape, or jumping over tall buildings. All we are called to do is show up and help when a need arises.
You are that hero. You're not looking to make a name for yourself—you just want to see good stuff happen in this world. Jesus made you to be that hero.
Right now, you are exactly what college students need. Together, we can love them with the love that the Father has for the Son and invite them into the freedom of the Spirit.
Will you help? Will you be one of the heroes that college students need?
Your gift of any size helps us meet our financial needs and helps us directly impact college students across Michigan!
